What is Garlic?

Garlic was worshipped by the ancient Egyptians and  during the earliest Olympics in Greece, garlic was fed to the athletes to increase their stamina.  In China, it was used for diarrhea, dysentery, tuberculosis, diphtheria, hepatitis, typhoid and ringworm. The plant has been used over many centuries in different countries as a protection against evil. Garlic essential oil is extracted by steam distillation.
